Downtown Haddonfield springs forward for daylight saving time

As you are getting ready to “spring forward” on Sunday, March 13 for daylight saving time, you can look forward to more daylight, and more time to shop and dine in Downtown Haddonfield.

Promises of warmer, sunny spring days and early evenings are ahead, perfect conditions for checking out all the latest spring trends in food, fashion and gifts every day of the week. Downtown Haddonfield hosts Late Night Thursdays every week, when participating shops offer extended hours until 7 p.m. There’s always plenty to enjoy and now more time to enjoy it.

“Daylight saving time — when we move the clocks forward one hour — means more time to enjoy the sunny Downtown every day and especially on Thursdays for those who work during the day. Whether you’re shopping for a new wardrobe for spring or need to get some errands done and grab a bite after a long workday, you now have time to do it all in Haddonfield,” said Remi Fortunato, retail recruiter for the Partnership for Haddonfield.

Participating merchants along Kings Highway and our charming side streets — which include Mechanic Street, Ellis Street, Tanner Street, Kings Court and Haddon Avenue — invite you to enjoy their extended Thursday night hours.

For a list of participating stores or more information visit www.dowtownhaddonfield.com.
