Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio has announced that the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders, in collaboration with Rutgers Cooperative Extension and the Burlington County Master Gardeners, will be sponsoring a Gardening Expo on April 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the county’s Community Agricultural Center located at 500 Centerton Road, Moorestown.
“The Gardening Expo here in Burlington County is a fantastic way to bring gardeners of all backgrounds in the community together with one event,” Garganio said. “Whether they be local famers or those just starting out in the pastime, all are welcome to attend this family friendly expo.”
This will be a rain or shine event with free admission and free parking. Garden-themed presentations and workshops will be held throughout the day starting at 11 a.m.
“Vendors interested in selling plants, crafts and any other merchandise with a garden theme at this year’s market are asked to submit applications by April 1, 2016,” Garganio said.
