The following reports are on file at the Moorestown Police Department:
On Nov. 11, as the result of a motor vehicle stop officer smelled the odor of burnt marijuana, which the subject admitted to and then turned over a plastic bag containing marijuana. The 22-year-old man of Mt. Holly was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and released on a summons.
On Nov. 12, a 64-year-old male of Springfield, Pa. was arrested and charged with shoplifting. On Nov. 4, he took a purse from Lord & Taylor valued at $278 and concealed it inside an empty shopping bag. The man was released on a summons.
On Nov. 13, at 2:47 a.m. two suspicious males were standing on Bridgeboro Road at the Flying Feather Farm. When subjects were approached one male was carrying an Apple Mac Book. When questioned it was determined the laptop had been stolen. The laptop was valued at approximately $1,300. Arrested and charged with receiving stolen property was a 19-year-old man of Burlington. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $500Â bail.
On Nov. 14, a 48-year-old woman of Philadelphia, Pa. was arrested and charged with shoplifting and an anti-shoplifting device. She took twe coats valued at $495 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall and cut the sensors off with a knife. She was released on a summons.
On Nov. 15, due to a motor vehicle stop a 39-year-old female of Medford was arrested and charged with DUI. She was issued multiple traffic summonses including refusal to submit to breathalyzer.
On Nov. 17, due to a motor vehicle stop a 33-year-old woman of Delran was arrested and charged with DUI. She was issued several traffic summonses.
On Nov. 18, a 20-year-old female of Cherry Hill was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She concealed merchandise in her purse at Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall for a total value of $383.60. She was released on a summons. The merchandise was makeup, jewelry and perfume.
