ChildrenSong of New Jersey is preparing to sing at the “Celebrate Peace for UN70” concert commemorating the 70th anniversary of the United Nations. The concert will take place at the Kimmel Center on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 3 p.m. ChildrenSong singers aged 12 to 18 are excited to sing Planet Earth conducted by world-renowned composer, Johan de Meij of “The Lord of the Rings” Symphony and a few of their own selections in this prestigious concert. Tickets are available through the Kimmel Center for this event at www.kimmelcenter.org/events/?id=5447.

Under the direction of local music teacher Polly Murray, ChildrenSong has been training young musicians aged 8 to 18 for 16 years in the Haddonfield area producing fine musicians who aspire to become professional singers, music educators and music enthusiasts. The choir is always looking for new members who love to sing. No formal preparation for the audition is necessary. Audition information can be found at www.childrensong.org.
