Teams of cyclists will take to their spin bikes to raise money for YMCA Youth Scholarships at the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties’ third annual Pedal With A Purpose Spinathon. The event will take place, rain or shine, on Saturday Sept. 12 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Mt. Laurel YMCA.
This unique fundraising event combines physical fitness and fun, while meeting the YMCA’s mission of youth development and social responsibility. All proceeds will provide children in local communities with YMCA youth scholarships and access to programs that will have a lasting impact, helping them learn, grow and thrive.
The event is sponsored by platinum sponsors Virtua Health System and IvyRehab Physical Therapy and silver sponsors Beneficial Bank, South Jersey Spine and Pain and Strive Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation. Awards will be presented to the teams with the most monies raised, most team spirit and the first place team.
