Rutgers Master Gardeners of Camden County holding presentation on peonies on Sept. 16 in Cherry Hill

The Rutgers Master Gardeners of Camden County are presenting “Peony Envy” on Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Camden County Environmental Center in Cherry Hill.

The presentation will allow guests to learn about types of peonies, peony care, site selection, garden layout, picking cultivars and companion planting.

The speaker will be Kathleen Gagan. Gagan grows about 500 peony varieties and owns Peony Envy in Bernardsville, the largest open-to-the-public peony garden in the world. She has spoken at Longwood Gardens, on the “Martha Stewart Living” Show and many other flower shows and garden clubs.
