The Camden County Mosquito Commission regularly checks several thousand suspected mosquito-breeding sites across the county. Spraying is scheduled on an as needed basis based upon the results of their surveillance efforts.
“Even though the weather has been dry, you should still inspect your yard and remove all standing water to reduce the mosquito population,” said Freeholder Jeffrey Nash, liaison to the Camden County Mosquito Commission. “This simple act can help eliminate the pest population in your neighborhood, and assist the efforts of the commission.”
The commission will conduct spraying on Aug. 27 from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. in the following locations:
