During the 2nd of 3nd Summer Library hours, Kirby’s Mill Elementary School in Medford opened its library to students to check out books and log onto their computers to record their summer reading hours.
Along with its summer reading theme, “Every hero has a story,” the Medford Township Fire Department stopped by to give tours of the fire truck and share a little bit of their story with the students.
At their first event, an EMT was present with an ambulance and later this summer, a police officer will arrive with a patrol car.
Kirby’s Mill students love their reading and love their local heroes.
