This information was provided by Moorestown Township Board of Education president Kathy Goldenberg:

On July 27, the Moorestown Township Board of Education superintendent Timothy J. Rehm submitted his letter of resignation to board president Kathy Goldenberg effective Oct. 26.

Mr. Rehm indicated that his resignation was for personal reasons, and that he has accepted a position as superintendent/principal in a district in Ocean County. The board would like to acknowledge Mr. Rehm for his professionalism and thank him for his service.

The board will meet as soon as possible to discuss the method and timing for finding a new superintendent, and will consider its alternatives, including the appointment of an acting or interim superintendent for the immediate future.
