Cherry Hill Public Library kicks off summer reading program

The Cherry Hill Public Library’s super hero themed summer reading program is here. Not just for kids, the library invites people of all ages to track what they read to be eligible to win raffles and other prizes now through Aug. 22. The library’s summer reading program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Cherry Hill Library.

The library offers kids, teens and adults with more specified themes and programs catering to each age group. Themes include, “Every Hero Has a Story” for students up to and including grade five, “Unmask” for students entering grades six to 12 and “Escape the Ordinary” for adults.

To participate, register online through the Summer Reading Program link at the library’s website, www.chplnj.org. Keep track of reading to earn spins on the prize wheel (kids) and virtual raffle tickets (teens, adults). Prizes include gift cards to local stores and restaurants, books and more. The adult program has a grand prize raffle, in which participants will have the opportunity to win their choice of a Kindle Fire HD 6, four Phillies tickets, a Merv Griffin Show box set, or a gift basket filled with goodies.

For more details about adult summer reading, call (856) 903–1225 and for kids and teens summer reading, contact the youth services department at (856) 903–1229.
