On June 13, a victim reported an unknown subject splattered white paint on his house on the 200 block of Jefferson Avenue sometime over the weekend.
On June 13, a 41-year-old male was placed under arrest for DWI subsequent to a stop for speeding.
On June 14, a victim reported that his house on the 400 block of Loucroft Road was “egged” while he was away.
On June 16, at 12:10 p.m. Haddonfield Police responded to an armed robbery at the Rite Aid, 715 Haddon Avenue. The robbery suspect jumped over the pharmacy counter, displayed a handgun to store personnel and demanded Adderall and oxycodone. He received an unknown quantity of medications before fleeing. Once outside the store the perpetrator pulled a priest out of a parked vehicle and drove off. The perpetrator abandoned the stolen vehicle at the 100 block of Marne Avenue, near Wood Lane, and continued to flee the area.
An immediate search of the surrounding neighborhood was conducted by Haddonfield Police with support from neighboring agencies. The Camden County Sherriff’s K9 unit was also involved in the search however the suspect was unable to be located. As a precaution, two schools were placed under brief lockout status during a portion of the investigation, Tatem School and Christ the King.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, 200 lbs., wearing an orange/yellow traffic vest, a dark hooded sweatshirt, a black mask a white hard hat, and goggles/glasses. He was also carrying an orange traffic cone during the robbery.
Detectives believe that this individual may be the same suspect who robbed the Rite Aid in Logan Township.
The investigation is being conducted by Haddonfield Police Detectives and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.
Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Haddonfield Police Chief Ted Stuessy reported Rite Aid is offering a reward of $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the robbery.
