Moorestown Fourth of July Parade call for veterans

The Moorestown Fourth of July Parade will take place on Saturday, July 4, step-off time is noon. The Parade Committee wishes to invite the military veterans of Moorestown to participate in this celebration of ourĀ freedom.

The Committee feels that the crowd will respond wonderfully to seeing a float and/or marching contingent of those heroes who guaranteed that freedom. It shows ā€œteam spiritā€ as well as giving the spectators a sense that the veterans ā€œget itā€ in terms of Moorestown First.

So, if you did time in a combat zone or didnā€™t, wartime or peacetime, it does not make a difference to the Committee. Please accept our invitation since it was you who raised your hand to serve thisĀ nation.

Assembly will be at the intersection of Central and Chester Avenues. Please arrive early enough to be counted and receive your place in the line-up. Also, please wear something that marks your veteran status like a military ball cap,Ā etc.

Please contact Gene Clark at (856) 722ā€“0294 or [email protected] forĀ details.
