Moorestown Police Reports for May 27 through June 3

On May 27, as a result of a motor vehicle accident a 51-year-old woman of Gloucester was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. She was also issued several motor vehicle violations.

On May 28, due to a domestic situation a 21-year-old man of Pine Hill was arrested and charged with simple assault. He was ROR’d on a warrant. Incident took place at the Moorestown Mall.

On May 30, a 32-year-old male of Willingboro was arrested and charged with two counts of theft by deception. While working at Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall he took merchandise and completed a no receipt return for gift cards in the amount of $89.97 and $79.98. He was released on a summons.

On May 30, a 57-year-old female of Philadelphia, Pa. was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She took merchandise valued at $2,276 from Lord & Taylor in the Moorestown Mall. She posted $500 bail and was released.

On June 2, arrested and charged with possession of paraphernalia and possession of a prescription drug was an 18-year-old man of Moorestown. The arrest was the result of suspicious subjects at vacant house. He was released on a summons.

On June 3, Toll Brothers Construction reported the theft of a washer and dryer from a house under construction on Sarazen Avenue. The appliances were valued at $1,000 and taken between June 2 and 3.
