The following comes from Lt. Joseph Friel with the Evesham Township Police Department:
On June 7 at 2:54 a.m., an officer patrolling inside the township’s Data-Driven Approaches to Crime and Traffic Safety (DDACTS) zone conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle that he observed being operated in a reckless manner. During the stop the officer arrested the driver for DUI. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of 14 bags of heroin.
Arrested:
A male, age 25, of Marlton, was charged with third degree Possession of Heroin and DUI. He was released to a sober adult in accordance with NJ DUI laws.
