The Burlington County Bar Association has partnered with the Mt. Laurel Library to host a series of programs for the public called “People’s Law School.” These programs will be held monthly at the library from 6 to 7:30 p.m. All programs are free of charge and no registration is needed.
Programs will feature attorneys speaking on such topics as wills and estates, consumer fraud, foreclosures and bankruptcy and workers’ compensation. A time for questions and answers will follow each presentation. A schedule of programs and presenters is below:
- May 12 — Real estate with Daniel Posternock
- June 23 — Wills and estates with Melanie Levan
- Sept. 15 — Social media with Katherin Hartman
- Oct. 13 — Foreclosures and bankruptcy with Daniel Posternock
- Nov. 17 — Homeowners Association Law with Gregg Shivers
- Dec. 8 — Consumer fraud with Gregg Shivers
- Jan. 12, 2016 — Guardianship with Jeffrey Apell
- Feb. 9, 2016 — Workers’ compensation with Gary Boguski
