In commemoration of Jazz Appreciation Month (April), the Medford Arts Center will host, for the fifth consecutive year, the return of the “Little Big Band” in concert Friday, April 17, at 7:30 P.M. Donation is $10 at the door.
The LBL, which has become one of the MAC’s most popular musical offerings, features 6 of the Delaware Valley’s top jazz musicians. Individually, the musicians have performed in nightclubs and theaters all over the East Coast, including Atlantic City Casinos, Valley Forge Music Fair, Keswick Theatre, Kimmel Center, etc.; with Lionel Hampton, Dick Stabile and the Midnight Sun Orchestra, to name a few. All still perform regularly throughout the tri-state area. All are members of Medford’s Own BigBand Express.
Members of the group are Don Zimmerman, trumpet; Tom Baird, trombone; Clarence Watson, keyboard; Nick Paveromo, bass; Al Hobbs, drums and Tony Femiano, leader and saxophone.
For further information contact Tony Femiano at 609–654–1855 or email: [email protected].
