The Medford based Shawnee Ice Hockey Club’s JVB & Middle School B teams won the South Jersey High School and Middle School Ice Hockey Leagues fall season Championships at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees in March. The Renegade JVB team beat Lower Cape May 6 to 1 while the Middle School B team won their championship with a 5 to 3 win over Clearview. The club fielded 4 teams this season, varsity and junior varsity high school teams and two middle school teams. Shawnee teams have won six championships in the last three years.
A ten game spring season will begin in late April and we are looking for new players. All games are played at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees. Middle School players in 4th through 7th grade and High School players who are currently in 8th through 11th grade are eligible to play. For information please email: [email protected]
