The West Jersey Chamber Music Society will celebrate their 35th anniversary on Sunday, March 15 as they present The Evolving Classical Style, which features favorite works from Haydn, Beethoven and Schubert, on violin, cello and piano including a complimentary dessert reception. This wonderful musical experience will delight the classical music aficionado, those who are interested in learning more about this beautiful music, and the entire family!
In turn-of-the-19th century Europe, traditional forms and harmonies were giving way to a more expressive sensibility in music called Romanticism. The Evolving Classical Style will be performed by The Arcadian Trio, violinist Igor Szwec, cellist Vivian Barton Dozor and pianist Diane Goldsmith, in a multimedia presentation that will enrich the concert experience. The trio are all accomplished musicians who are regular playing members of fine musical organizations, including the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Opera Company of Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra, the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. The West Jersey Chamber Music Society is delighted to have them bring their performance to our audience.
The Evolving Classical Style performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church located at 101 Bridgeboro Road in Moorestown. Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 for seniors, and $10 for students. Lots of free parking is available on site. For tickets or more information please visit WJCMS.org.
