The Philadelphia Horticultural Society presented awards to the winners of the “2014 PHS Gardening and Greening Contest.”

Chapel Avenue’s two-mile cherry blossom avenue was awarded a “Garden of Distinction” recognition by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. Two photos of cherry blossom avenue were shown at the 2015 Philadelphia Flower Show staged in the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The two photos are a positive image of Cherry Hill Township.
Residents and community members are asked to celebrate the return of the cherry blossoms this April. Groups, schools and organizations are encouraged to be a part of this year’s welcoming and plant new cherry trees throughout the township.
