Rabbi Joel Seltzer to visit Temple Beth Shalom on Feb. 19

Temple Beth Sholom Hazak is hosting a community event on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m.

Rabbi Joel Seltzer, director of Camp Ramah in the Poconos, will discuss “Purim: The Case of a Cosmic Do-Over.”

Rabbi Seltzer learned countless personal and professional life lessons from his time at camp. A graduate of Jewish Theological Seminary of America, he served as a Rabbi in Providence, RI before returning to his spiritual home of Camp Ramah. Seltzer is also a contributing blogger for Haaretz Jewish World,

Refreshments will be served at the event. The community is invited to this special treat as Hazak’s guests.
