Moorestown Friends School student to perform with South Jersey Senior High Chorus

Moorestown Friends School sophomore Melissa Abrams, of Cherry Hill, has been selected to the 2014–2015 South Jersey Senior High Chorus. Over 500 students from 50 public and private schools were represented at the November tryouts held at Woodstown High School.

Abrams will perform with the Chorus at two concerts at Eastern High School in Voorhees on Jan. 24 and 25. She is a member of the Moorestown Friends School Singers, under the direction of Middle Upper School choral director and music teacher Kelly Bixby. She was also a member of the cast of the school’s fall musical, “Shrek.”
