A Mt. Laurel man has been charged with one count of murder for causing the death of wife.
Kyle Crosby, 28, was taken into custody on Monday evening by Brooklawn Police after a traffic stop and foot chase. Investigators say they found several items they believe are evidence in connection with the disappearance of 26-year-old Erica Crippen. Crosby had signed a missing persons report saying he had not seen his wife since Jan. 1. Crosby is being held in the Burlington County Jail on $1 million bail.
Crippen and Crosby lived together at 5201 Aberdeen Drive with two girls, a 7-year-old and 3-month-old.
On Jan. 7, officers arrived at their residence for a wellness check after the 7-year-old did not go to school that week. Crosby was charged on Jan. 10 for endangering the welfare of a child due to the level of care he provided to the children in absence of his wife.
Police have still not located Crippen’s body. Investigators are still looking for leads in regards to her whereabouts. Anyone with information can contact Burlington County Central Communications at (609) 265–7113 or the Mt. Laurel Police Department through Facebook at [email protected]
