Carol: Must See Now
I wasn’t a big fan of other “Nights” but this is truly hysterical. You don’t need to have seen any of the others to enjoy this. The filmmaker has you caught-up with the storyline within minutes. Ben Stiller is very funny but the show is “stolen” by Rebel Wilson. You may also want to catch the last screen performance of Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney who, sadly, have been lost to us.
Phil: Must See Now
We saw the first version and didn’t think it was that great. This one, however, is funnier than funny! Maybe it was the day or the mood we were in; or the fact that we haven’t reviewed a good family comedy in a long, long while. Whatever! This one will make you laugh out loud — that’s my criteria for a good comedy film.
