Moorestown hosts its Candlelight Night on Dec. 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., sponsored by the Moorestown Business Association members Fox & Roach, Berkshire Hathaway and South Jersey Federal Credit Union.
As the Holidays approach the Main Street Business district opens its doors for a fun, family-shopping night filled with the sounds and tastes of the season.
Besides completing your gift buying in one night you can get ideas for the kids and Mrs. Claus! Percheron Park will be filled with the sound of sleigh bells as the Percheron horse carriage rides roll down Main Street for the second year. These wonderful strong, gentle horses were first bred in Moorestown in the 1800s and soon will be commemorated in the park. Buy your tickets early for this wonderful old-fashioned entertainment.
The crisp air and smell of fireplaces burning just adds to this traditional night out on Main Street.. Bring the family on a stroll and afterwards visit one of the warm and friendly restaurants that are ready to cater to every whim.
