The First Baptist Church hosts “Sounds of the Season” on Dec. 5 during MBA Candlelight Night

On Friday evening Dec. 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., when the Moorestown Business Association holds its 38th Annual Candlelight Night downtown, the First Baptist Church will be open to welcome folks strolling along Main Street. Come in out of the cold, and warm up to the “Sounds of the Season,” a program of holiday selections performed in the sanctuary by the church’s new organist, Michael Majeski. The music begins on the half hour, and each mini-concert runs for 20 minutes — just enough time to help you get into the Christmas spirit. The church will offer hot apple cider and tasty treats to all who step inside for holiday cheer.

While sipping your warm cider, step into the lounge area where several local non-profit agencies including Care Kinesis, The Evergreens, MoorArts, MoorKids, Moorestown Theater Company, Perkins Center for the Arts, The Tender, and the YMCA will have display tables and provide you with plenty of information.

For further information, contact the church office at [email protected] or (856) 235–1180. First Baptist Church of Moorestown is located at 19 West Main Street. Follow us on Facebook or visit our website at http://www.fbcmoorestown.org/.
