The Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross in Medford will host Advent Vespers on Sunday, Dec. 14. The event will begin with choral prelude hymns of Advent beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The guest speaker for the event will be John Burgess, a professor of systematic theology at Pittsburgh Seminary and affiliated with the Center of Theological Inquiry in Princeton. This will be “Incarnation and the Christian in Society.”
