The following information was provided by the Cherry Hill Police Department.
On Saturday, Nov. 15, Cherry Hill Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 38 and Hillview Drive for a traffic violation. Through investigation by police, a man from Audubon was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and other charges.
On Sunday, Nov. 16, Cherry Hill Police located a stolen vehicle on the parking lot of the Days Inn. Through police investigation, a man from Camden was arrested for theft by means of conveyance for not returning the rental vehicle on Aug. 27.
On Monday, Nov. 17, at approximately 10:10 a.m., Cherry Hill Police responded to the 1700 block of Berlin Road for an alarm activation. Responding officers located a side door that was forcefully kicked open. Proceeds were jewelry and cash. This incident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit.
On Monday, Nov. 17, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Cherry Hill Police responded to the 2700 Block of Chapel Avenue West for an alarm activation. Responding officers located a rear door forced open. Homeowner arrived at the residence and advised the proceeds were jewelry. This incident is under investigation by Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit.
On Tuesday, Nov. 18, Cherry Hill Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 38 and Mill Road for a traffic violation. Through investigation by police, a man from Camden was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and other charges.
On Wednesday, Nov. 19, Cherry Hill Police responded to the Nordstrom department store for report of a shoplifter that had left the store in a vehicle. Police located the vehicle traveling on Route 38 at Cuthbert Boulevard and initiated a motor vehicle stop. Through police investigation, a man from Sicklerville was arrested and charged with shoplifting merchandise totaling $325.
Through investigation by Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit on Nov. 19, a man from Cave Creek, Ariz. was identified and charged with theft by deception and forgery. Police responded to a theft from vehicle on Nov. 10 where personal checks were stolen at that time and then fraudulently cashed.
Through investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit and Edgewater Park Police, on Nov. 20, a man from Edgewater Park was identified and charged with forgery and theft of movable property. On Nov. 17, GameStop reported that a male had purchased an Xbox with counterfeit money.
