Haddonfield Newcomers Club is celebrating Octoberfest! Oans, zwoa, g’suffa!
The Haddonfield Newcomers want all new and established residents to come out and shout “O’zapft is” on Saturday, Oct. 25 between 7:30 p.m. and 11:30 pm. This much-anticipated annual tradition of Newcomers brings neighbors together to share a pint, or two, feast on some German inspired appetizers and play traditional German Octoberfest games. This year we are also going to have a beer tasting table — so guests can sample a variety of craft beers.
Tickets are $25 a person and can be purchase by contacting Haddonfield Newcomers President Carolyn Lecocq at [email protected]. The private address of the party will be provided upon ticket purchase. Also, remember that if you are need of a babysitter, Newcomers have created the Haddonfield Babysitting Network of high school students — this directory can be found by contacting the Newcomers board on Facebook or email [email protected]. So put on your Tracht, get ready to Schunkeln and Masskruagstemma, and say, “A Bier, bittschen!” Prost!
