College bound teens in 10th through 12th grade are invited to hop on the Katz JCC’s College Caravan from Nov. 5 through Nov. 7 to visit the University of Delaware, the University of Maryland and Towson University. Each college visit will include a guided tour of the campus, meetings with undergraduate admissions staff, Hillel staff and an opportunity to experience the energy and atmosphere of these schools.
“The college caravan is a great way to see three highly respected state universities during one trip,” said Rabbi Jon Kleinman, outreach and engagement specialist the Katz JCC. “The teens will learn about the admissions process at and expectations of each school, interact with current students and get a first-hand glimpse of what each school is like by walking around campus.”
The college caravan will depart the Katz JCC on Wednesday, Nov. 5 and returns on Friday, Nov. 7. The trip, which is $150 per teen, includes charter bus transportation, two nights of hotel accommodations and meals. There is limited space available, and interested students must register by Friday, Oct. 31 by contacting Rabbi Jon Kleinman at [email protected].
