A “Blessing of the Animals” family event will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Moorestown. The church is located at 207 West Main Street at the intersection of Main and Church Streets.
Those attending this free event are asked to bring their pets, to be blessed. A variety of animals will be presented by several animal organizations from the area.
The one-hour event will include a brief service and blessing of each individual animal, conducted by the rector of Trinity Church, The Reverend Philip Stowell.
This nineteenth annual event will celebrate the life and work of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.
