“The contest is open to all third through eighth graders in Burlington County,” Garganio said. “This provides a great opportunity to raise asthma awareness for county residents of all ages.”

Possible poster topics can include but are not limited to the following:

· Avoiding asthma triggers
· Physical activity and asthma
· Asthma and the environment
· Asthma medication

All entries must be received by Friday, May 16. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Please submit your posters to John Sivon at the Burlington County Health Department, 15 Pioneer Boulevard, Westampton. They can also be e-mailed to [email protected]. Include your name, school, grade and contact info. For questions about the contest, call (609) 265–5467.
