On March 28, Eleanor S. Dobbins (nee Fitzsimmons) of Haddon Township, formerly of Magnolia, passed away at the age of 86.
Mrs. Dobbins was the wife of the late Paul, beloved mother of Carl (Patty) of Holiday, Fla., Jack (the late Faith Zieske) of Haddonfield and Jim (Cathy) of Magnolia.
She was the loving grandmother of Sean, Katie, Heather, Colleen, Michael, Christopher, Chrissy, Andrew and Mimi, and dear great grandmother of 18. Mrs. Dobbins was the cherished sister of Rosemary, Ann, Joan, Thomas and the late John, Helen and Joe.
Mrs. Dobbins was a dedicated wife and mother. She actively participated in the PTA and the Holy Rosary Society. She was blessed with an amazing singing voice, which she shared via the Singing Angels.
Mrs. Dobbins’ family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 2, from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at Holy Saviour RC Church, 50 Emerald Avenue. Her funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Mrs. Dobbins’ name to her Parish: Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108.
