Eva A. Colalillo (nee DiLorenzo) died peacefully on March 26 at the age of 92. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Alex A. Colalillo, Sr. for 62 years.
Born in Camden, Eva was a longtime resident of Haddonfield and Longport. Eva was the loving mother of the honorable Mary Eva Colalillo of Haddonfield, Dr. Alex A. Colalillo, Jr. (Sheila), of Haddonfield, and Eva Marie O’Neill of Tampa, Fla.
Eva was the beloved grandmother of John Kunkle, Mark and Christine Colalillo, and Thomas and LeighAnna O’Neill. Each grandchild was her favorite.
Eva was the loving sister of Angelo DiLorenzo, Anthony DiLorenzo, and Frank DiLorenzo, and predeceased by brothers Marco and Joseph DiLorenzo, and sisters Betty Giglio and Nettie Staszak.
Eva was the daughter of Maria (Mazzarello) and Frank DiLorenzo.
There also are many loving nieces and nephews, and her devoted caretaker Fatima Sisay.
Before her marriage, Eva had a business in which she designed and made custom bridal gowns for many happy brides and their attendants. She was also known for her wonderful meals shared by family, friends and many in need in the South Jersey area.
Eva’s grandchildren especially enjoyed her delicious biscotti and pizzelles.
Eva was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church of Haddonfield.
Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, March 24, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Mass will follow at 11 a.m., at Christ the King Church, 200 Windsor Avenue. Interment is at the Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
