On Friday, Jan. 31, Bernard (Bob) passed away peacefully in Voorhees at the age of 86. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ruth Fay of Medford. Beloved father of Anne Hodgins (Mark), Mary Lutz (George), Maureen O’Brien and Lisa Boblenz (Rick). Dear brother of Jack Fay of Leominster Mass., devoted grandfather of Heather Busch, Angela Hodgins, Devin and Brianna Lutz, Kyle and Ryan Lutz, Matthew Boblenz; great-grandfather of Isabella Busch. Dear uncle to Martha Faulkner (Michael) and Ellen Corliss (Glenn) of Leominster, Mass.

Born in Newark to Bernard and Margaret Fay in 1927, he grew up in Wilmington, Del. He attended St. Benedicts Prep School and was a graduate of Villanova University. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran who served in World War II. He spent the bulk of his professional career with Dow Chemical in Midland Michigan and in later years relocated to Moorestown, where he continued his sales career.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects on Thursday, Feb. 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mathis Funeral Home, 58 North Main Street, Medford. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Feb. 14 at St. Mary of the Lakes Church, Medford.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations are made in Bernard’s name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive- Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
