The community is invited to attend the Katz JCC’s fourth annual Gourmet Wine and Dine on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 5:30 p.m. This kosher gourmet food and wine extravaganza will celebrate 360 years of American Jewry through a culinary journey from Eastern Europe to the American South.
Culinary masters behind the evening’s meal are Chef Mitch Prensky, co-owner and Executive Chef of Supper, named one of Philadelphia Magazine’s top 50 restaurants, and Chef Robert Bennett, Executive Pastry Chef of Classic Cake. The evening includes cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a three-course dinner, dessert, live music and a discovery of Jewish heritage.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Chef Prensky and welcome back Chef Bennett to craft a delectable menu for our guests,” said Sahar Oz, Director of Judaic Programming at the JCC.
Proceeds from the Wine and Dine will support the Katz JCC’s adult nutrition program, which provides nutritious meals to 20,000 seniors throughout the year. Tickets are available at the JCC Adult, Cultural & Judaic Department suite, by calling Michele Susson at (856) 424–4444 ext. 1119 or [email protected], or online at www.katzjcc.org/wine.
