Jan.4 armed robbery suspect still at large

On Jan. 4 at 8:45 p.m., Moorestown Police were dispatched to the Citgo Gas Station, 201 Rt. 38, to investigate the report of a robbery at gunpoint that had just occurred. The attendant stated that a male, 5’6 to approximately 5’8 in height, wearing dark clothing, face concealed by a black balaclava, walked up behind him and put a handgun in his back and demanded money. The subject reached in the attendant’s pocket and took between $600-$700 cash before fleeing on foot, north on Church St. towards Main St. The attendant was not injured. A K9 unit from Willingboro PD, as well as officers from Mt. Laurel PD, assisted Moorestown PD on the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact Moorestown Detectives at (856) 914–3092.
