Compassionate Friends Therapeutic Riding Center is hosting a fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 7 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. at Medford Lanes. This fun and exciting evening will include a Chinese auction, 50/50 drawing, Rock ‘n Bowl along with four pool tables and great food.
CFTRC, a non-profit organization located at Seafrá Farm in Medford, is run by Sherri Briggs. The center works with special needs individuals, providing a structured horseback riding program specifically designed to achieve maximum therapeutic benefits. Horseback riding has been shown to improve a rider’s physical, mental and emotional well being in a fun and dynamic way.
Medford Lanes is located at 665 Stokes Road in Medford. Tickets are $35 per person, in advance or $40 at the door.
