As a result of an inter-agency auto theft investigation, the Cherry Hill, Collingswood and Pennsauken Police Departments have arrested and charged two individuals in connection with a series of auto thefts.

Six vehicles were stolen from these towns over a period of two months. The vehicles were taken from commercial parking lots as well as residential areas, where the suspects used a flatbed tow truck to remove targeted vehicles from their parking spaces.

The stolen autos, all of which were inoperable, were sold for scrap at metal agencies and auto recycling centers in South Jersey.

Both suspects were charged with auto theft and were released on complaint summonses pending an initial hearing in the Camden County Superior Court.
