‘Cruisin’ for a Cause’ car show, cookout fundraiser set for Oct. 26
Alaris Health, a rehab and long term care center located at 1417 Brace Road in Cherry Hill, will be hosting the sixth Annual “Cruisin’ for a Cause” Classic Car Show & Cookout fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All proceeds will support the South Jersey Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association for education and research. Rain date is Sunday, Oct. 27 same time.
For a $5 per person donation, guests can enjoy antique cars and street rods on display from the 1920’s thru 1960’s, music from 92.5 WXTU Country Radio, a traditional cookout, and an appearance from Camden Riversharks mascot “Finley”. Various themed raffle baskets will also be available for guests to win. The Classic Car Show and Cookout festivities are open to the public.
Senior residents and patients from Alaris Health will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite cars at the show, and will present first, second and third Place “Resident’s Choice” trophies to the winners.
Complimentary tours will be available throughout the event for families interested in learning more about the rehab and long-term care services offered by Alaris Health.
