Riverton shooting victim identified

Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi and Riverton Borough Police Chief John Shaw announced today that the woman who was found fatally shot on a borough street Sunday morning was a resident of Youngstown, Ohio.

The woman, identified as Te’Aira Denise Earvin, age 22, was discovered by law enforcement officials after a 9–1–1 call yesterday morning at 5:23 a.m. indicated an unconscious and unresponsive woman was on the ground on Carriage House Lane between Lippincott and Thomas Avenues.

An autopsy performed by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood indicated the victim died as a result of gunshot wounds. The manner of death was listed as homicide.

No arrests have been made. The case is being investigated by the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the Riverton Borough Police Department.

Anyone with information that would be useful to investigators is asked to call Burlington County Central Communications at 609–265–7113.
