POLICE: Resident reports stolen bike, criminal mischief and more
The following incidents were taken from reports on file with the Haddonfield Police Department.
On July 11, at 11:03 a.m., a Haddonfield resident from the 400 block of North Haddon Avenue reported in the past three weeks an unknown subject cut the lock to her boyfriend’s bike and stole the bright blue GMC Denali Road bike. She said the bike was parked in a bike rack underneath the complex.
Haddonfield police responded to a criminal mischief call on July 10 at 10:51 p.m. A resident of the unit block of Woodland Avenue reported her house was egged, but did not see the perpetrators. The police checked the area and did not locate the suspects.
On July 9, at 3:32 p.m., a resident reported he was asleep in his unlocked car at the unit block of Colonial Ridge Drive. He was awakened by a male who opening his car door. The male was described wearing a white shirt and dark pants. The suspect fled the area on foot. Police were notified 20 minutes after the incident and searched the area with negative results.
On July 8 at 11:42 a.m. a resident from the 100 block of Ellis Street reported someone stole one metal plant stand from his front yard within six hours of notifying police.
Two street signs were reported damaged on July 8. Signs on the corner of Maple Avenue and Wood Lane, and Maple and Marne avenues were bent and need to be replaced.
