LETTER: Resident discusses police academy completion

On behalf of the recently completed class of the Evesham Township Citizens’ Police Academy, we would like to thank Lt. Kehoe, Lt. Miller, officer Tom Campbell and especially Sgt. Ron Ritter and the other officers who presented this program for us.

We were all extremely impressed by the professionalism, the dedication and the enthusiasm exhibited by your staff in their presentations to us and their service to the community.

As residents of Evesham Township, we have gained an enormous respect for the department as a whole and for each participating officer.

During the program, we had the opportunity to see firsthand every facet of the department and the inner workings of the various divisions within the force.

The eight-week program was very comprehensive and gave us a broad view of what the officers do, how well prepared they are and the training and qualifications they have in order to do their jobs.

You are to be commended for providing this opportunity to the residents of our community and the leadership shown by all your officers and staff.
