The Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders are announcing a road resurfacing project to begin in Moorsetown Township.
Resurfacing of a 2.7- mile portion of Riverton Road (County Route 603) is expected to begin Wednesday, May 1.
The project involves milling and overlay of Riverton Road from Route 130 to County Route 613 in Moorsetown Township. The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete.
Traffic will be maintained with one lane alternating during milling and paving operation. Motorists using the roadway may experience a delay and are recommended to find alternative routes during the work.
The work is being done as part of the county’s 2012 State Funded Overlay Program. The county will resurface a total of 21.4 miles of roadway in 14 municipalities through shared state and county funding.
