PHOTO: Local students get hands on in the garden

Temple Beth Sholom’s ninth-grade curriculum is focused on Social Justice and Judaism. On April 14, Beverly Lerner, TBS’ Assistant Director of Congregational Learning, and TBS’ students participated in a culminating project by partnering with Camden County’s Center for Family Services. They spent the morning weeding and planting a vegetable garden for homeless teens in a short-term shelter.
