Clarification: Trash to be consolidated
In the April 10 article, “Trash collection set to be reduced,” it was stated Monday trash pick up will be handled on Tuesday, Tuesday becomes Wednesday, and Wednesday becomes Thursday. This is only the case on holidays and will not be weekly.
The only weekly pickup day slated for elimination will be Friday, and the remaining routes will be consolidated.
“Others should not be worried or concerned there is changes to their trash collection,” township manager Bill Cromie said. “It has not been reduced it’s been consolidated.”
