Police: Resident reports theft from unlocked vehicle

The following incidents were taken from reports on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department.

A resident of the unit block of Rushwick Road reported a theft from an unlocked vehicle. The incident occurred between Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. and Feb. 8 at 6:45 a.m. Credit cards, valued at approximately $5, were taken from a wallet inside the vehicle. An unauthorized charge of $300 was made with one of the credit cards that was reported stolen.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 27-year-old woman of the 1100 block of Coventry Way, on Feb. 8 for hindering. Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Larchmont Boulevard she provided fraudulent information to police in an attempt to hinder her own arrest on outstanding warrants. She was charged with hindering in addition to the outstanding warrants and was committed to the Minimum Security Facility in Pemberton in lieu of $6,523 bail.

Subsequent to an alarm activation at National Janitorial Solutions on Commerce Parkway, police observed a criminal mischief to the business. The incident occurred on Feb. 8 at 8:09 p.m. Several large rocks were thrown through a back window. Damage is estimated at $200. Nothing was reported missing.

A resident of the 400 block of Elbo Lane reported a burglary and theft to a residence under construction. The incident occurred between an unspecified time on Jan. 26 and Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. Entry was gained by forcing the front door. Miscellaneous items, valued at approximately $50, were reported taken. Damage is estimated at approximately $250.

An employee of the Monsoon Restaurant on Dearborn Circle reported a criminal mischief to the business. The incident occurred between Feb. 7 at 10 p.m. and Feb. 8 at 9 a.m. A latch plate to the rear door was damaged. Damage is estimated at $25.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 25-year-old man of the 2800 block of Berkley Street, Camden, on Feb. 10, for driving while intoxicated. He was stopped on Route 73 at 2:14 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 23-year-old woman of the 100 block of Carleton Lane, on Feb. 6 for possession of marijuana. She was stopped on Masonville Road for a motor vehicle violation at 11:08 a.m. She was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams), possession of drug paraphernalia, and hindering. She was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 23-year-old man of the unit block of Baker Boulevard, Marlton, and 23-year-old man of the 2200 block of Scovel Avenue Pennsauken, on Feb.6 for trespassing at the American Tower property on Mt. Laurel Road. They were both served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 20-year-old of the unit block of Palmer Drive, Moorestown, and a 19-year-old man of the 100 block of Center Street, Moorestown, on Feb. 7 for possession of marijuana. They were located by police during a suspicious vehicle investigation on Centerton Road at 1:08 a.m. Both were charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams), and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 26-year-old woman of the 3200 block of Broad Street, Port Henry, NY, on Feb. 7 for shoplifting $231 in merchandise from Ulta on Nixon Drive. She was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
