Adults category:

On Saturday, Feb. 9 at 6 and 7 p.m., attend the Up and Comers Family Pot Luck Dinner followed by babysitting and a sex therapist presentation. Calling young lovers: Looking to “rev up romance?” Plan to attend this unique experience for couples of all ages, with and without children. We provide our yummy chicken dinner. You provide the rest: Last names A-I, please bring salads. J-R: please bring side dishes. S-Z: please bring desserts.

Then from 7 to 8:30 p.m., adults discover ways to improving intimacy with acclaimed author Dr. Stephen Betchen, while children are supervised by capable teens from TEFTY for a nominal fee: $7 for first child; $5 each additional child, fees to fund educational scholarships. An exciting, meaningful and informative way to discover all that Temple Emanuel has to offer you, including our 2013 Gift Membership Program entitling you to attend all events! On Saturday, Feb. 23 from 1 to 2 p.m., attend the Just For You Purim Service in Support of Special Needs. Please join our warm and welcoming clergy and extended Temple Emanuel family of families for this inviting, musical and interactive Purim celebration designed to be accessible, sensitive to a variety of needs and interpreted into Sign Language. Enjoy healthy snacks — hamantaschen, too, as we embrace the festivities. Open to the entire community. All ages are welcome. On Saturday, Feb. 23 at 5, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m., attend the Superhero Purim Celebration. Chag Sameach! Zap! Zowie! Grab your cape and soar down to our Super Hero Purim Carnival, Wonder Woman’s Wine & Cheese Reception and Tot and Adult Megillah Readings, followed by Hercules’ Hamantaschen Dessert Buffet. Open to the entire metro community; all ages are welcome and a fun way to meet new friends! Don’t forget to wear your Super Hero costume! On Sunday, March 3 at Barnes & Noble, 911 Haddonfield Road, Cherry Hill, from 1 to 3 p.m., attend the Temple Emanuel Day at Barnes & Noble/“Read Across Jewish America Week.” “Book” the date, enhanced by performances by our Religious School K-1 students starting at 1 p.m., followed by children’s book readings by Rabbi Jerry David. Come have a nosh at the B&N café with our signature “Hadar Hot Chocolate!” available. All are welcome! A percentage of net sales benefits Temple Emanuel, please mention us at any B&N and online. Then party on with us all week at TE culminating during 7:30 p.m. Shabbat Evening Services March 1 with children’s authors/illustrators Danny and Kim Ackerman! Kids category:

On Saturday, Feb. 9 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., attend the Mini-Minyan Service and Oneg. Kids too old for Tot Shabbat? Enjoy an interactive worship experience for children in grades K-3 featuring songs, prayer instruction, arts and crafts followed by an oneg. Grandparents are encouraged. Open to the community, so bring your friends! On Friday, Feb. 15 at 6 and 7 p.m., attend the Tot Shabbat Pot Luck Dinner and Service. Come celebrate the new week, sing, pray and have the time of your lives at this lively service.
