Medford Township Police are asking local residents to check bank accounts, especially if you used a Mac/Debit card at the TD Bank located on Stokes Road.
Medford Township Police, along with TD Bank are currently investigating an incident where a skimming device was installed onto a MAC machine.
“Skimming” is the installation of an electronic device, usually undetectable by ATM users, that surreptitiously records the user’s bank account information and corresponding PIN.
TD Bank was reportedly working on identifying and notifying potential account holders whose information had been compromised.
Anyone who has uncovered unauthorized transactions with their bank accounts need to file reports with both the bank and local law enforcement.
