On Jan. 3 at 5:02 p.m., police responded to Wal-Mart, 500 Route 38, for a shoplifter.
Upon arrival it was reported the suspect fled the store with merchandise that was not paid for.
When confronted by store security she reportedly pushed and assaulted security causing injury.
The woman of the 500 block of Warwick Road in Lawnside was identified by police and charged with robbery and simple assault.
