Maintenance paving repair work will require the closure of the right and center travel lanes and shoulder on Route 38 westbound near Cherry Hill Mall Drive tomorrow night (Thursday, Dec. 27) from 8 p.m. to approximately 6 a.m. the following morning (Friday, Dec.

28) in Cherry Hill.

Weather depending, NJDOT maintenance crews will be repairing deteriorated sub-base pavement over a length of approximately four-tenths of a mile along Route 38 westbound.

Route 38 westbound will be reduced from three travel lanes to one, but the left travel lane will be maintained at all times during this necessary pavement repair work. While NJDOT scheduled the work for overnight hours to minimize the impact to Route 38 drivers and businesses, delays can be expected through the area.

The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors.

Motorists are encouraged to check NJDOT’s traffic information website www.511nj.org for construction updates and real-time travel information.
